We are proud to introduce the most versatile engine lift plate on the market today. This plate offers a combination of features that clearly separate it from any others on the market.
For starters, this plate has a universal bolt pattern that accomodates the Holley 4500/4150/2300, Quadrajet, Carter and Rochester 2 bbl's carburetors. Next, we have incorporated a swivel eye hook into the design to allow the engine to be effortlessly rotated while hanging from the hoist. Finally, the lift plate has a unique load leveling feature that allows the engine to be leveled while under load. Simply turning one of the nuts on either end of the ACME rod will allow the engine to be perfectly leveled. This makes it safer, quicker and easier to install or remove an engine.
In addition to addressing many of the inconveniences found with other lift plates on the market today, our plate's 1000lb load rating also provides ample strength for any engine. In fact, Kaizen Motorsports performed numerous destructive tensile tests to fully understand the extreme limits of this plate. The results of this testing has confirmed that our plate is a heavy duty tool that can more than handle any engine weight. Many of our customers have expressed a concern with the tensile strengths of aluminum manifolds and their corresponding lack of confidence in using a lift plate for these applications. Therefore, as a potential worst case scenario, we also attached our plate to an aluminum manifold and pulled the system to failure. See the test results above.
Due to the various sizes of hooks on the market, some may be too large to fit through the lift eye of our Load Leveling Lift Plate. In those cases, we offer a Slip Hook with a safety latch to guarantee a perfect fit with the plate. The hook accommodates a 3/8" sized chain.
