Forms of Waste - FRICTIONAL
Copyright © 2007 Kaizen Motorsports, LLC. All Rights Reserved.
Frictional losses occur when two objects moving relative to each other make contact and their kinetic energy is converted into heat.
Examples where this may occur:
Engine/Drivetrain bearings, piston rings/cylinder wall, cam/follower, pushrod to rocker interface, differential and transmission gears, brake drag, etc.....
